Kees and Claire Tentative Opening February 6, 2021

After much careful deliberation on COVID-19 safety protocols. The Kees and Claire hut is able to operate this winter season from February 6th, 2021 to April 30, 2021.

The same restrictions on bookings and group size from the Summer 2020 season will remain in place for the time being. Those restrictions are as follows

  • Groups must be a single unit of no more than 16 people. It is recommended to only visit the hut within a dedicated social bubble that you’ve been recreating with for the whole season.

  • Bookings are for Friday, Saturday, Sunday night only. At this time we cannot accommodate mid-week bookings.

  • Bookings will be at a fixed flat fee irregardless of group size. At this time we cannot offer local mountaineering club members a discount. This flat fee rate has been set at $2400 per booking.

  • Guests of the hut are asked to wear a mask whenever possible in the common areas of the hut. Exceptions to this are while sleeping, eating, or washing.
