CUSTODIANS – Will there be hut custodians full time?

No we will not have full time custodians, rather they are trained volunteer positions and we expect to have custodians there during busy periods at the hut. These custodians will be locals and others volunteering their time to spend a week or weekend at the hut to ensure everyone is respectful and proper operation occurs within. Over time, we expect we might be able to have some paid custodian positions in place.
In winter 2024, we achieved 95% custodian coverage during our core season (January-April), and are working towards our goal of achieving complete coverage.
