SHS Spring Update - Summer Bookings, new Reservations Agent, vaccine passport policy.

Hello there,

The SHS has loved seeing so many smiling faces (behind masks, safely) up at the hut this winter, between guests, custodians, and the staff. We are overwhelmed by how the public has fully responded to the hut re-opening this past winter season. We wanted to bring some updates with this post to our community and followers.

Spring and Summer Hut Bookings - We will be releasing the summer months for booking on March 25th! At the end of each ski season, the SHS does a hold-back period to ensure vital maintenance can be planned and have our crews up at the hut without disturbing guests. A reminder that booking availability will be on a rolling window of 60 days in advance for the public and 90 days for being a member of the ACC Whistler, ACC Vancouver, or BCMC. Being a member of these local clubs gives you the benefit of being able to book 30 days before anyone else.

New Reservations Agent - The SHS has brought a new RA onto the team, Elise G. We have ended our agreement with Whistler.com, who was handling all of our booking requests. We hope that this new addition to the group is a positive experience for all our current and future guests. Welcome to Elise!!!

Vaccine Passport Mandates and Masks - Any bookings that have a start date after April 10th will be exempt from being required to provide proof of vaccination at the time of booking. Masks are now optional in the hut, and we ask you to please be considerate of others who are sharing the space and feel more comfortable wearing a mask at the hut. We still recommend you wear a mask in common areas of the hut even though they are no longer required.
